Mclaren Circus - Langebaan

So seeing as I was too late for the Mclaren Circus in Cape Town, my sister and I decided to pack a picnic basket and trek with the kids up to Langebaan to see the show.

We arrived too early being before lunch and the show only started at 3pm. We bought our tickets and ate our picnic goodies alongside the infamous lagoon. I then took a walk around the craft market and came across such an exciting store by the name if Earth Angel! It consisted of clothing, non-perishable foods, crafts and bedroom ornaments.

Now unfortunately Mclaren does not allow an cameras and i was unable to use my phone too. In a nutshell the show was amazing and the acts were out of the ordinary! Saamia absolutely loved seeing the animals.

GaGa!

So i was fortunate enough to be sponsored a golden circle ticket from my bestie with the help of my dear brother. Now I am a serious GaGa fan at heart and this was one of the best gifts i could have received! The night ended up being amazing (ofcourse) and the artist outdid herself delivering nothing less than an awesome performance!! I on the other hand managed to get a spot right in front of the golden circle area!! Amazing I know!!

Singing every single favourite track (which is all of them) and waving my hands in the air by the likes of 'heavy metal lover' and 'bad romance' to 'just dance'. Enjoy some of the photos I took with my iphone 4s.

Metallics For Spring 2012

Many designers have gone gold and silver for their Spring 2012 Collections. Metallics are a personal favourite as it creates richness and elegance yet a playful fresh spin on timeless looks. Now the key to looking good in metallics is to only wear one piece at a time, that is choose one piece and accentuate it accordingly. Another tip wear metallics with neutral colours. By using neutrals to balance out a metallic piece you can keep your look on trend without going over the top.

The First Post

Considering this is my very first blog post, let me tell you about myself. My name is Raeesa Mohamed and I am 25 years of age. I am a single mother and my daughter, Saamia, is currently aged 2. I work for the Foschini Group known as TFG, under the division American Swiss in the Diamond Planning department. This blog is about all things ME such as what I like, what I do and what interests me. Food, fashion, music and the outdoors are the highlights of my interests. I also have a keen interest in photography however its more of landscape photography. My blog will consist of  posts relating to Fashion, Food & Baking, Restaurants, My Daughter, Photography and the Occassional Outings.
